The son of a teacher and an engineer, he got his start working with children as a YMCA camp counselor. He always knew he wanted to work with young people because of their energy and enthusiasm. As he began his teaching career, Jeremy saw the power of computers and knew that was the way to connect students and learning.

Early in his teaching, Jeremy was introduced to Google drive and the Google suite of tools. He was selected to attend a Google Geo Teacher’s institute on the Google Campus. He was awarded summer fellowships through IISME at Lockheed Martin and U.C. Berkeley. He earned his Masters in Education with a focus on Teacher Leadership from University of Phoenix. He became a trusted source on his campus, training students and teachers alike.

After teaching 3rd, 5th, and 6th grades, Jeremy was approached by his principal. She saw what he was doing with technology and wanted to know if he would become the computer prep teacher. Not needing much time to consider, he went and earned his supplemental authorization in computer science.

Jeremy is looking for a new challenge.
